"John's extensive experience and high level of expertise will be instrumental as he looks to build upon the outstanding performance of our claims organization and confront many of the company's most complex challenges," Elliot said in a statement. "Under John's leadership, I am confident our claims team will be a differentiator for The Hartford and continue to provide customers with high-quality, compassionate service."
