SUNAMERICA ANNUITIES

Los Angeles-based SunAmerica will implement NaviSys (Edison, NJ) applications to support its variable annuity products. NaviSys Front Office and NaviSys Home Office will create a browser-based platform for distribution, selling, servicing, underwriting and back office administrative support.

METLIFE USES DWL

MetLife (New York) has chosen Toronto-based DWL Inc.'s DWL Customer, a real-time transactional application, to consolidate customer information across its lines of business.

INSPIRE INKS DEALS

Fort Worth-based INSpire Insurance Solutions signed contracts with Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Co. (Minnetonka, MN) and Island Insurance Companies (Honolulu). Midwest Family will use INSpire's release 8.0 INSideOUT policy/claims processing software. Island Insurance has signed a license agreement for the use of INSideOUT policy/claims processing software v7.0.

FIREMAN'S TAPS CGI

Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. (Novato, CA) signed a 10-year outsourcing contract with CGI Group Inc. to provide IT support services to 80 locations across the United States.

ZURICH/SIEBEL CONTRACT

Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) will use Siebel System's (San Mateo, CA) Financial Services technology to standardize its customer service operations. Siebel Financial Services is a version of Siebel eBusiness applications, designed specifically for the financial services industry.
