WORLDINSURE/SUN LIFE

Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada (Toronto) has selected Bermuda-based Worldinsure's new business processing platform for its US operations. The solution will provide improved underwriting and distribution channels with fully automated case submission and status tracking.

AXIS/SUNSYSTEMS DEAL

AXIS Specialty Ltd. (Pembroke, Bermuda) purchased 25 licences of Systems Union's (Miami) SunSystems financial and business management software solution, which AXIS is implementing across its global operations, including sites in the US, Ireland, London and Bermuda.

GUARDIAN OUTSOURCES

New York-based Guardian Life Insurance Co. has signed a $22 million offshore outsourcing agreement with Covansys (Farmington Hills, MI) for support and development of insurance applications, key technology initiatives and integration and enhancement of the carrier's existing legacy systems.

ISO USES INSYSTEMS

Insurance Services Office (Jersey City, NJ) has penned a license and service agreement with InSystems (Toronto) for an integrated document management/compliance automation solution.

CIGNA/GOLD CONTRACT

CIGNA International (Reading, England), the health insurer's European division, has signed a contract for Boulder, CO-based Gold Systems to supply voice applications for the division's staff and customer service center in Greenock, Scotland.
