New York Life Finds New CTO Internally
New York Life has promoted Michael Del Secolo to SVP and CTO. He reports to SVP and CIO Sue Ericksen, who was the CTO before being promoted to the top tech position last year.
Del Secolo joined the company in 2010 as VP of architecture. In 2011 he added responsibility for engineering, leading the management of IT architecture and engineering. Now, he is responsible for guiding the development of the company's technical strategy, research and innovation.
Del Secolo is a graduate of Brooklyn's Pratt Institute. He has also worked at ADP and Salomon Brothers.
