North Star Mutual Selects iPartners BI
Cottonwood, Minn.-based North Star Mutual Insurance Company has selected the Insurance Scorecared business intelligence platform from Atlanta-based iPartners.
The offering, delivered in a software-as-a-service model, will consolidate and analyze North Star’s current and historical policy and claims data to provide greater insight and improved decision making, according to a statement. The goal is to gain robust reporting and analytics environment, dashboards, scorecards, key operating metrics, and detailed analysis.
North Star SVP and CIO Verlin Scheer said that "consistently positive feedback" from existing iPartners customers was a major factor in the selection.
The SaaS model also should help free up North Star IT resources, allowing the company to focus time and effort on other critical business initiatives, according to the announcement.
