OPTICAL LIBRARY PLASMON

MINNEAPOLIS-Plasmon has begun shipping its M-Series 5.2-in. Magneto Optical (MO) Libraries with new SONY multi-functional 9.1 GB, 14X MO drives. All 14X drive/media products are now available for Plasmon's full range of 5.25-in. library products. Desktop stand-alone drives and 14X field upgrade kits for the firm's M-Series libraries will also be available. Plasmon will offer certified ISO standard double-sided 9.1 GB media in both rewritable and Continuous Composite write-once-read-many (WORM) formats with new SONY MOD 910 MO disk drives.
