AUSTIN, TX-Computer Sciences Corp. has launched POINT IN, a processing platform designed for small- to mid-sized P&C insurers. The solution's XML-based architecture fully integrates all insurance processes, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing and reinsurance, helping organizations reduce costs and improve customer service, CSC says. POINT IN serves as the insurance professional's desktop, consolidating policy information, third-party data and multiple software applications into a single, Web browser-based view. POINT IN is fully integrated with CSC's Colossus bodily injury claims evaluation tool, Business Intelligence Solution (BIS) and Media View, a browser-based tool for capturing, archiving and viewing electronic documents, images, audio and video files.
