Pegasystems Releases New P&C Claims Platform
Cambridge, Mass.-based Pegasystems has introduced Pega Claims for Property and Casualty Insurers.
The new platform features case management capabilities meant to automate work activities and guide support staff to the next-best action, streamlining claims handling and improving quality, according to Pegasystems. It also leverages decision management to improve claim adjudication, the company says.
"These advanced capabilities foster best practices across operations and support all the components of a claim case by actively monitoring and managing the various roles and processes associated with case components," Pegasystems says in a release. "The dynamic, intelligent decisioning approach to claims management helps insurers reduce claim costs and mitigate claim leakage."
Pegasystems also claims the system will improve customer retention with a consistent and efficient customer service experience, control total claims costs with investigation, reserving, settlement and subrogation best practices, integrate content management into the claims process and deliver real-time insight and management reports on process and operational performance.
