Physicians Mutual Selects FTNI's ETran for Payments

Omaha, Neb.-based Physicians Mutual Insurance Company has selected the ETran platform from FTNI, which is also based in Omaha, for payment automation and back-office payment posting.

ETran is a software-as-a-service platform that features check scanning, ACH processing, and PCI-compliant credit card processing, according to the company. It allows customers to set up recurring payments as well.

"We considered several electronic payment vendors and selected FTNI based on their ability to quickly understand our specific needs and deliver results”, Dan Simpson, SVP and CIO at Physicians Mutual, says in a statement. "FTNI's ETran solution was able to meet the varied payment types and locations our business requires, and they did so in a professional and timely manner."
