LANHAM, MD. - PITNEY BOWES GROUP 1 SOFTWARE has enhanced its Wind Pool data bundle, part of its Risk Data Suite, with an address-based solution. The enhanced Wind Pool is designed to help insurers mitigate underwriting risk.
As the Risk Data Suite leverages historic and real-time risk-related weather and natural hazard information to determine the actual geographic boundaries of wind pools as they are defined by individual states, Wind Pool allows carriers to pinpoint a given properties location and determine whether it lies within designated wind pool zones.
