AIG Group Benefits Hops on Core Systems Replacement Bandwagon

AIG Benefit Solutions, the group benefits unit of American International Group (AIG), has selected Mphasis-Wyde's Wynsure policy administration, billing and customer-service system for underwriting and end-to-end administration processes.

"We chose MphasiS Wyde as our implementation partner because Wynsure has a significantly better toolset and functionality than competing products," said Lorena Weaver, Chief Information Officer of AIG Benefit Solutions, in a statement. Wynsure's out-of-the box functions and tools will support AIG Benefit Solutions' aggressive implementation schedule.

Products supported by the new system will include core and voluntary group life, accidental death and dismemberment along with business travel accident, short- and long-term disability, and worksite products.
