Erie Licenses Castek's Insure3

In order to support its complete policy lifecycle and replace its online policy processing application while improving efficiency, Erie Insurance Group (Erie, PA) has signed a software licensing agreement with Castek (Toronto) for the use of its Insure3 Policy.

According to John Sommerwerck, vice president and division officer, information technology at Erie Insurance Group, the Insure3 Policy product, which will integrate with Erie's claims management, billing, financial and CRM systems, was chosen for its flexibility.

"The product configuration tool that drives Insure3 Policy offers full lifecycle policy management and rapid product development, customization and rollout capability," says Sommerwerck. "These features will help take our interactions with our policyholders and agents to a new level. Also, the multi-channel interaction and multi-player process support is an ideal match for our e-commerce strategy."

Insure3 Policy will enable Erie's processes to become more efficient, predicts Sommerwerck. "The product configuration tool will allow our business users to quickly develop and maintain our insurance products," he says.
