Harford Mutual Opts for End-to-End Core Systems from Guidewire

Harford Mutual Insurance Companies (Harford Mutual, Maryland) has selected Guidewire Software's InsuranceSuite for claims management, underwriting, billing and rating, as well as Guidewire Reinsurance Management, Guidewire Client Data management, and Guidewire Standards-based Templates.

The suite allows the insurers to use individual applications or a template composed of requirements and priorities, according to a release. Other qualities cited in the selection include being able make rate changes using ISO content, configurability, and the ability to standardize policy, billing, and claims process on the same platform.

"We receive consistent feedback from our agents that one of our most significant strengths is our responsiveness to their requests and suggestions for system enhancements or new tools to help them do their jobs," stated VP and CIO of Harford Mutual, Stephen Fabian.
