IDBI Fortis Selects Mastek’s Elixir for Policy Admin

Mumbai, India-based IDBI Fortis Life Insurance has chosen to launch its India-based insurance business on Mastek's (Mumbai, India) Elixir Policy Administration System module. According to a press release, IDBI Fortis will look to the module to enhance speed to market and to provide the basis for efficient operations and customer service.

A second phase of the agreement was also announced, with IDBI Fortis to expand the scope of its Mastek contract to include Elixir modules covering channel management, claims, and reinsurance.

Mastek is the parent company of Edison, N.J.-based Majesco Mastek, an insurance software solutions outsourcer.
