InsPro Technologies (Eddystone, Pa.) has embarked on a development strategy of its InsPro Enterprise policy management and administration suite to support an expanded range of life an annuity products.
"InsPro entering the life and annuity space seems like a well-times, logical decision," comments Chad Hersh, a principle in Novarica's (New York) insurance practice. "Being firmly entrenched with a strong client base and proven delivery track record among health insurers, expanding the solution suite to cater to life and annuity insurers is an obvious next step.
A review of the life and annuity technology market led InsPro's leadership to conclude that there were few solutions that incorporated modern technology, according to Robert Oakes, InsPro's president and CEO. "Insurance carriers are looking for modern solutions, and analysts have been challenging vendors for years to...bring these solutions to market. We see this as a tremendous opportunity to expand our market reach and fill an industry void."
