To the Editor:
Your article on automated end-to-end processing was enjoyable (September 2001 I&T, "End-to-End Proccessing: The Long and Winding RoadA Progress Report"). Having worked in insurance since 1982, it's hard to say, "Electronic processing of insurance transactions is largely in its infancy." The oldest product I am aware of is Judgment Processor (JP) from COGENSYS.
JP/DecisionXchange is superb. I have worked with neural nets, AI, and fuzzy logic systems and have yet to find a single one that comes close to JP/DecisionXchange. Perhaps in your next article, you could mention JP/DecisionXchange. Some of us old-timers would be grateful.
