Motorists Replaces Legacy Reinsurance System With Effisoft's WebXL
The Motorists Insurance Group (Columbus, Ohio) has selected Effisoft's WebXL software for ceded reinsurance. WebXL will replace a legacy system at the carrier.
Motorist sees WebXL as a comprehensive solution providing enhanced data access, improved controls and fully automated processing, according to Tom Brock, assistant VP, corporate accounting, Motorists. “WebXL will give us strong analytic and reporting tools, with a primary focus on loss–side administration for ceded property and casualty contracts,” comments Brock.

Effisoft USA CEO Joseph Sebbag calls the Motorist agreement a "milestone contract," as it represents the France-based vendor's first client since opening its US operations office in Dallas office. “We look forward to working with one of America’s most-respected insurers,” Sebbag comments.
The Motorists Insurance Group, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, consists of 10 property and casualty insurance, life insurance and insurance brokerage companies. Motorists Mutual, established in 1928, is the lead company in the group.
