NJM Chooses Guidewire for Policy Admin, Billing, Customer Data Management

A Guidewire ClaimCenter customer since 2007, New Jersey's largest auto and workers' comp carrier becomes an InsuranceSuite customer with the addition of the new capabilities, which will be deployed initially in workers comp.

Auto and workers' compensation insurer New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company (NJM, West Trenton, N.J.) has chosen Guidewire (Foster City, Calif.) PolicyCenter as its new underwriting and policy administration and Guidewire BillingCenter to manage its billing operations. NJM has also selected Guidewire Client Data Management to support what a vendor statement calls a more comprehensive customer view across its core operations. NJM will initially deploy PolicyCenter and BillingCenter for workers' comp.

NJM's adoption of Guidwire's policy administration, billing and customer data management solutions represent an expansion on the carrier's existing relationship with the vendor. A Guidewire ClaimCenter customer since 2007, NJM sought a next generation platform that could streamline its policy and billing management, better serve its policyholders, and provide a foundation for future initiatives and business changes, according to Guidewire. The adoption of the new solutions makes NJM a Guidewire InsuranceSuite customer.

"While we had success with our Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation, we selected Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter because of the depth of functionality of each system individually," comments Harold Fink, vice president, Program Management Office, NJM. "The maturation of PolicyCenter and BillingCenter caught our attention, and we believe the capabilities of the systems will help us meet our long-term IT and business goals."
