OneShield Establishes Global Strategy Division

Signaling its intention to target insurance market opportunities beyond North America, OneShield, Inc. (Westborough, Mass.), the developer of OneShield Dragon, a rules- and tools-based, data-driven policy management solution, has established a Global Strategy Division. Leading OneShield's initiatives and entry into markets outside of North America is Liza Smith, recently hired as general manager of OneShield Global Strategy.

Smith will be responsible for the development and deployment of the Dragon product suite in all markets outside the US. She joins OneShield from EMC Document Sciences where she was VP and global head of insurance.

"We have proven successes in the U.S. and Canada, and Liza's extensive experience leading market and product entry in Europe, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region will ensure future growth in the international general insurance market.
