OpenFLEX Offers Free P&C Technology To Aid Aon & Marsh Victims

In order to help the families of employees of Aon and Marsh & McLennan who lost family members during the Sept. 11 attacks, OpenFLEX, Inc., will provide an AIMS-I system to each of the first five insurers that donates $50,000 or more to aid in the relief for the families that lost loved ones. OpenFLEX will match that amount up to $50,000 per system.

In order to help the families of employees of Aon and Marsh & McLennan who lost family members during the September 11 terrorist attacks, OpenFLEX, Inc. (Los Angeles), will offer services to five insurers by providing the AIMS-I Policy Management Processing System free of charge.

OpenFLEX, Inc., will provide an AIMS-I system to each of the first five insurers that donates $50,000 or more to aid in the relief for the families that lost loved ones during the World Trade Center attack. OpenFLEX will match that amount up to $50,000 per system, which will be dispersed evenly to The MMC Victims Relief Fund and Aon Memorial Education Fund.

AIMS-I is a fully integrated property/casualty processing system that features policy administration, claims processing, billing, agency management, workflow management, CRM and reinsurance. The Aon Memorial Education Fund (formerly known as the Aon Assistance Fund) was established to ensure that the children of Aon employees who were lost can pursue post-secondary education, and to assist families with the educational requirements of children with special needs. The fund will continue to provide financial resources to respond to the immediate needs of Aon families affected by the World Trade Center. The primary purpose of the MMC Victims Relief Fund will be to support the health, welfare, and education needs of families of MMC employees affected by last month's attack. The Fund will provide financial assistance for certain immediate needs arising from the attack and may also provide long-term assistance (for example, needs-based scholarships). Contributors to the Fund should make donations, payable to "The MMC Victims Relief Fund," to PO Box 26838, New York, NY 10087-6838.
