PURE Launches E-Delivery for Policy and Billing with OneShield

Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE; White Plains, N.Y.) has made its policy and bills available through e-delivery. The reciprocal insurer partnered with Westborough, Mass.-based vendor OneShield on the initiative.

PURE has been using OneShield's Dragon for policy management. The companies worked together to make changes that enable agents, on behalf of members, to determine how policy documents will be received — on-demand, electronically in real-time or printed, according to a release.

A third-party electronic delivery application has been integrated with PURE's OneShield to deliver policy documents securely directly to members' e-mails, the companies add. Members may choose to opt in or out of electronic delivery at any time.

"Through the secure electronic delivery of policy and billing documents to our policyholders and agent partners, we feel we are providing an innovative method of sending and receiving these sensitive documents," Stuart Tainsky, SVP and CIO at PURE, says in a statement.
