Ravello MedMal Policy Admin System Goes Live at Missouri Professionals Mutual

Missouri Professionals Mutual (MPM, St. Louis) has gone into production with Ravello Solutions' (Atlanta) CoverageQuick for Medical Malpractice policy administration system.

MPM's leadership emphasized the Ravello system's ease of use, as well as the vendor's insurance expertise and understanding of medical liability insurance. "Medical malpractice insurance is extremely complicated and specialized. Ravello is able to keep track of highly complex issues such as 'slots' and 'locum tenens' utilizing workflows that are proprietary to Ravello and that are very easy to follow," comments Timothy H. Trout, managing director, MPM. "Additionally, the policy system's tight integration with the claims system allows our underwriters to make highly informed decisions on policies quickly and with complete confidence."

MPM announced its selection of Ravello's policy, claims and billing suite in February. The vendor delivered the claims system within 60 days, and billing has gone live with the policy administration system.
