Southern Pioneer Implements ISCS's SurePower Policy Admin Suite

Implementation of SurePower Innovation at Southern Pioneer has automated most of the company's critical business processes, including underwriting, policy and claims management, reinsurance and billing.

Southern Pioneer Property & Casualty has implemented ISCS's (San Jose, Calif.) SurePower Innovation Policy Administration Suite to handle processing of the Jonesboro, Ark.-based carrier's homeowners', dwelling fire, vacant dwelling fire, garage liability, commercial property and liquor liability, according to an ISCS news release.

One of Southern Pioneer's main goals in implementing the ISCS solution was to improve the company's business processes through the best practices and workflow, according to the vendor. Southern Pioneer selected SurePower Innovation in part to modernize the company's existing policy administration system, as well as to provide easy cross-company reporting, and enforcement of consistent company requirements across all lines and products, the ISCS release says. "SurePower Innovation allows us to provide our agents with additional tools and support to serve our policyholders," comments Brian Hyneman, secretary/treasurer for Southern Pioneer. "It will also help us become more efficient in our operations."

The implementation of SurePower Innovation at Southern Pioneer has automated most of the company's critical business processes, including underwriting, policy and claims management, reinsurance, and billing, according to ISCS. The vendor reports utilizing agile development methods, including defined sprints and comprehensive acceptance testing, during the Southern Pioneer implementation to maintain project scope and quality of deliverables.
