ProMutual Group Launches New Web-based CMEs
ProMutual Group, a Boston-based medical liability insurance provider, has added two new continuing medical education (CME) activities to its CME Web site (www.pmgcme.com), the carrier announced on Monday in a press release.
The activities, "Prevention & Management of Medical Errors: A Risk Management Approach" and "Team Work & Patient Safety," have a duration of three hours each and feature interactive video and graphic components, according to a press release. "We are excited to accredit these activities and give physicians greater access to CME activities in an easy to navigate and readily available online forum," Maureen Mondor, vice president of physician education for ProMutual Group, stated.
The classes were developed by New York-based Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers (PRI). "The advantage of having these CME activities accredited by ProMutual Group is the national exposure we will now have in our ability to educate physicians," Geri Donohue, associate director of risk management education for PRI, said in the release.
