Sagicor Life Implements Insurance Technologies' ForeSight 5.0

Sagicor chose to upgrade on ForeSight based on version 5.0's enhanced capabilities, including SmartPhone/PDA, CRM, FNA, and a summary values section.

Sagicor Life Insurance (Scottsdale, Ariz.) has successfully implemented version 5.0 of Insurance Technologies' (Colorado Springs, Colo.) ForeSight point-of-sale (POS) and illustration system for life, annuities, critical illness, disability income and long-term care, the vendor reports.

A user of the ForeSight system since 2006, Sagicor chose to upgrade based on version 5.0's enhanced capabilities, including SmartPhone/PDA, CRM, FNA, and a summary values section, according to an Insurance Technologies news release.

“Insurance Technologies and the ForeSight™ 5.0 single system solution has provided Sagicor with the tools our producers need to provide comprehensive information to their clients which will allow them to make the financial decisions for their future," comments Michael Stricker, senior vice president, operations Sagicor Life. We expect the ForeSight 5.0 to be a great investment with a strong ROI over time.

“With the introduction of the summary values section, producers and clients are able to see how each parameter they modify alters the premium needed or death benefit available,” adds Stricker. “The capabilities extended to our field agents have been greatly expanded allowing them to create very specific funding patterns, death benefit changes, illustrated rates and rider selections quickly and easily. The speed at which the values are calculated and the actual report is rendered into PDF format has been reduced significantly in the ForeSight 5.0 system.”
