Scottsdale Insurance Company names new VP of claims

Scottsdale Insurance Company, focused on excess and surplus and specialty line arena, has named George Spedding VP of claims for its corporate operations, as well as Freedom Specialty Insurance Company and Western Heritage Insurance Company. Spedding is replacing Susan Wain, who is retiring.

“Besides his great depth of experiences, George bring a strong focus on teamwork and partnership to our claim operation that is a great fit with our customer-centric strategy,” says Mike Miller, president of Scottsdale.

Scottsdale, founded in 1982, is a subsidiary of Nationwide. It named a new agency management head earlier this year.
