AIG-Israel Selects IT Security Solution

AIG-Israel, a direct insurance company affiliated with the AIG group, has selected an IT security system from Raz-Lee Security, a Nanuet, N.Y.-based provider of information security solutions for IBM (Armonk, N.Y.) System i Servers. AIG will leverage the vendor's iSecurity solution to protect its server infrastructure, according to a press release.

"iSecurity significantly simplifies the protection of our centralized computer systems, especially in the TCP/IP environment," Etzion Yatsiv, vice president and chief information officer, AIG-Israel, said in the release.

The iSecurity system will enables AIG-Israel to block break-in attempts from external sources, receive detailed reports on employee activities (including actual screen captures of user activity), and control user's rights to view data, Raz-Lee says. Using real-time alerts and timeline reports, the system informs relevant staff of changes in business-critical databases. Such reports can integrate information from all the company's financial, purchase and manufacturing systems, according to the press release.
