Henderson Brothers Agency Selects Ascent Data for Backup Services

Independent agent Henderson Brothers will work with Ascent Data for remote data backup and colocation.

Using Ascent DataGuard, Henderson Brothers will migrate from a traditional IT infrastructure to a virtualized one at Ascent Data's SAS70 Type II certified data center in O'Hara Township, near both companies' headquarters in Pittsburgh.

"By utilizing Ascent DataGuard we will significantly reduce our recovery time, compared to our previous solution," Ethan Connor, IT manager for the company, says in a statement.

"Cutting the time it takes to get back up and running in the event of a disaster will significantly impact our business and our ability to deliver insurance services to our clients," Tom Grealish, Henderson Brothers president, adds.
