Selective Names Brenda Hall Director of Field Underwriting and Information Strategy

Selective Insurance Group Inc. (Branchville, N.J.) has promoted Brenda M. Hall to the role of senior vice president, director of field underwriting and information strategy. Hall, who joined Selective in Oct. 2001 has held several managerial positions in Selective's regional underwriting offices and most recently served as vice president and director of field operations.

Selective also announced the promotion of Debra Wilber to senior vice president of corporate claims. Wilber, whose career at Selective spans more than 20 years, was most recently vice president of corporate claims.

Other appointments include the promotion of Bonnie L. Kikkert to vice president, claims operation manager. Kikkert was formerly assistant vice president of claims operations, and has held a variety of positions within claims, human resources and IT, since she joined Selective in 1979.

The carrier has also named Steven B. Woods executive vice president of human resources. Woods joined the company in Jan. 2009, having previously served as vice president, human resources, corporate affairs and administration, and vice president, international, for Easton, Pa.-based Crayola LLC.
