Shelter Insurance Licenses CSC Billing System

Columbia, Mo.-based Shelter Mutual Insurance Company has licensed the Exceed Billing, Exceed Disbursements and Exceed Financial Integrator systems from Falls Church, Va.-based CSC.

The life and P&C carrier will incorporate Exceed Billing with multiple policy admin systems, including CSC’s CyberLife software for life insurance administration. Built on an open SOA, Exceed processes all bill types and lines of business, CSC claims.

“We were seeking a modern, enterprise-wide billing solution that could interface with our existing systems to streamline internal processes and lower operating costs,” Yvette Gonzales, CIO for Shelter Insurance, says in a statement. “Exceed Billing, a function-rich, configurable and scalable solution, will enable us to roll out new billing plans quickly and cost-effectively for all our lines of business.”
