Siebel Partners with Castek on P&C Solutions

San Mateo, CA-based Siebel systems has taken on Castek Software Factory (Toronto) as a software partner within theSiebel Alliance Program. As a result of the partnership, Castek will integrate its Insure3 product to Siebel e-Business applications.

According to Andreja Bozovic, director of marketing, Castek, "the partnership will provide the key to successful e-business capability for property and casualty insurers by driving integration between CRM and Internet-age policy administration." Bozovic describes the Insure3 product as "a flexible, adaptable and extensible, customer centric policy administration solution for P&C insurers."

Of Castek's partner, Bozovic says, "Siebel brings exceptional e-business CRM capability to P&C insurers."

The partnership represents a kind of a departure for Siebel, says Chuck Johnston, program director, Insurance Information Strategies, META Group. "They've always felt they could build everything they need to tackle the insurance industry."

Johnson adds, "the partnership is a first step to integrate CRM into heavy property and casualty administration software."
