HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. - Softheon, Inc., has released its Process Optimization Framework for Life Insurance Underwriting. The Framework optimizes the life insurance underwriting process by reducing underwriting decision-making cycles; improving underwriting ratios; improving hit ratios for proposals; and prioritizing proposals, the vendor says. Softheon becomes the underwriting team's desktop, connecting a distributed workforce with all necessary systems for decision making. The platform establishes a single electronic folder in a searchable database for each submission in which the application and supporting information is updated; provides each worker with a personalized desktop based on the user's role; automatically orders data and document requirements; and interfaces with rating or other expert systems.
