State Auto Implements GIS Pangea for Agent On-Boarding
Columbus, Ohio-based personal and commercial lines carrier, State Auto Insurance has implemented General Information Services' (GIS, Chapin, S.C.) Pangea for Insurance, the insurance-specific agent on-boarding version of the vendor's Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. The solution went live at the end of June, according to a GIS press release.
"We now have the Pangea for Insurance'product in full production for agency and agent appointments in all of our 33 operating states," comments David DeLong, manager of agency services, State Auto. "It's great; everyone is thrilled with the ease and convenience from our internal company associates to our new agency/agent customers." The user-friendliness and integration capabilities offered by Pangea for Insurance helped to streamline State Auto's insurance licensing, background check and appointment processes, according to DeLong.
