Storebrand Taps Ariba for Cloud Services
Storebrand, an Oslo, Norway based financial services firm with health and life insurance arms, has signed an agreement with Sunnyvale, Calif.-based software-as-a-service provider Ariba to implement its Commerce Cloud platform for purchasing.
The company will use Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Supplier Performance Management and Ariba Contract Management as part of its Commerce Cloud implementation. Ariba Contract Management will centrally manage all of the company's purchasing agreements and ensure compliance, according to a release.
“We use Ariba Sourcing to buy everything from office furniture and IT systems and services to management of properties owned by the group and recruitment services to consultants,” says Knut Olav Melhus Hoeg, group CPO for Storebrand, in a statement.
