SunGard iWorks Announces Investment Management Solution

Investment Management solution will aid in insurers meeting investment accounting, reporting and decision responsibilities.

Wayne, Pa. - SunGard has released a new addition to its iWorks Investments solution suite, Investment Management, an accounting solution that helps insurers and other financial services companies meet their investment accounting, reporting and decision support responsibilities.

The solution, according to a press release, provides transactional processing, historical reporting and application-level security to help insurance companies improve access to decision-making data, enhance workflow and meet changing regulatory requirements. iWorks Investment Management supports the analysis of investments based on market changes, can be customized to support customer-specific operational and processing needs, and can be implemented in-house, on an ASP (application service provider) basis, or by outsourcing hosting to SunGard.
