ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Kodak introduced its new line of i600 Series scanners. The i600 Series units convert paper documents to digital images at up to 120 pages per minute. They offer five output options - bitonal; grayscale; color; simultaneous bitonal and grayscale; and simultaneous bitonal and color. Other features include Perfect Page with iThresholding, electronic color dropout, orthogonal rotations, three ultrasonic sensors to detect multifeeds, and SurePath paper handling, Kodak says. The three scanners in the series are the i620, i640 and i660, which range in speed from 80 to 120 pages per minute. Prices start at $27,000.
