The Hartford Promotes Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
The Hartford Financial Services Group has promoted Patricia A. McEvoy to chief ethics and compliance officer. She is responsible for leading enterprise compliance, reporting to Alan J. Kreczko, EVP and general counsel.
“She is well suited to lead The Hartford’s enterprise compliance groups, and ensure the company sustains its unwavering adherence to ethical behavior,” says Liam E. McGee, chairman, president, and CEO of The Hartford.
McEvoy has been with The Hartford since 2000. She last served as VP and assistant general counsel in the corporate and property and casualty litigation unit of the law department. She has also worked at United Healthcare and Travelers.
The Hartford has more than 1 million customers and 18 million individual customers. It processes 1.5 million claims annually.
