Vertafore Partners with RatchetSoft

Vertafore has signed a reseller agreement with RatchetSoft to increase integration capabilities of its ImageRight solution.

Bothell, Wash.-based Vertafore, an insurance-focused software and services provider, has signed a reseller agreement with RatchetSoft to increase the integration capabilities of Vertafore's ImageRight content management and workflow solution with other core systems already in place within insurance organizations.

Manhasset, N.Y.-based RatchetSoft is the developer of Ratchet-X, a desktop application integration tool. The solution will be made available to ImageRight customers in June 2009 and will allow carriers to "ImageRight-enable" virtually any Windows- or browser-based application without making changes specifically to those applications, according to Vertafore.

"Carriers, agencies, and MGAs get the most bang for their technology buck when they can integrate ECM solutions with as many line of business applications as possible," said Joe Labbe, CEO for RatchetSoft, in a press release. "This partnership with Vertafore allows us to demonstrate how, in a highly visible way, Ratchet-X increases productivity and reduces ROI periods by extending the benefits of ECM to more customer systems."
