Westfield Group Names New CTO

Stuart Rosenberg has been named Chief Technology Officer at Westfield Group, while his predecessor Ed Largent has been promoted to chief administrative officer.

Westfield Group, a Westfield Center, Ohio-based company that includes P&C carrier Westfield Insurance, announced on Monday that it has named Stuart Rosenberg as its new chief technology officer.

In his new role, Rosenberg will be responsible for the organization's information technology direction, strategy, planning and execution, according to a press release. He will also partner with senior business leadership to identify and prioritize major IT strategic investments.

Rosenberg joined Westfield Group in 2002 and most recently served as the company's executive of technology portfolio management, a position he stepped into in December 2005. He has previously worked as a principal with Diamond Management & Technology Consultants and began his career with Accenture.

Rosenberg succeeds Ed Largent as Westfield's CTO. In a concurrent move, Largent was named the company's chief administrative officer. As CAO, Largent will oversee human resources, information technology, training and the internal audit department. In addition, he will have responsibility for Westfield Services, the company's agency-related financial services business, and the Ward group, an insurance industry consulting and benchmarking business.

Largent had served as CTO at Westfield Group since June 2005. He joined the company in 1986 as a systems programmer and has since held a number of positions in the company's IT area.
