Zurich Launches Customer/Distributor Microsite for Wind Event Information
Zurich in North America's risk engineering and claims groups have created the Zurich HelpPoint Wind site (https://www.zurichna.com/windstorm), a Web microsite to provide customers and distributors with tools and information to help them prepare for and recover from wind events in North America, according to a Zurich press release.
The Zurich HelpPoint Wind site will provide a collection of information resources before, during and after wind events, including hurricanes, tornadoes and other windstorms, according to the P&C carrier. It will also contain links to the National Hurricane Center and other sites potentially helpful to customers and distributors.
"The Zurich HelpPoint Wind site will reinforce the HelpPoint brand by providing Zurich commercial property-casualty customers and brokers with a single source to help them prepare for, and recover from, wind events," comments Armand Fernandez, chief risk engineering officer for Zurich Services Corporation. "Zurich's expertise in disaster preparation and recovery will help customers and distributors minimize wind storm losses."
