Access Commerce’s Cameleon SC Suite Now Offered to the Insurance Market

Access Commerce (Chicago), provider of multichannel commerce and configurator software, has expanded its solution offerings into the insurance market with the general availability of its new Cameleon SC Suite powered by Cameleonedge technology.

Cameleonedge Designer is a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application that enables insurance companies to optimize the design, development, deployment and management of insurance products. It applies Process-based Modeling that allows companies to employ industry best practices, moving the modeling process from a back-office, IT dependent activity to business users. This enables product managers to independently accelerate new product development and market launch activities.

A dashboard portal also helps manage workgroups, projects and tasks to enhance collaboration throughout the enterprise. Sales, marketing, operations and customer service people can all work on "one version of the truth" as it relates to product offerings. Re-usable building blocks stored in one central repository make it easy to create new products and quickly bring them to market.

Cameleonedge Configurator is a multichannel configuration and pricing engine that easily integrates with existing web sites, CRM and billing systems to eliminate errors and improve the customer experience. It can be used to generate complex quotes or proposals for business customers, and can be used in call centers, by agents and on-line to help consumers select the best coverage and pricing to meet their needs. A versioning capability allows carriers to view a customer's contract in context of the original rules and pricing, making it easier to manage claims and sell upgraded policies, says the company.
