Alfa Mutual Leverages Cover-All Relationship for Church Product

Alfa used Cover-All's NexGen Custom Product Framework to develop the product, which combines liability and property coverage for churches in Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi.

(Montgomery, Ala.) is rolling out an insurance product for churches that it developed using the NexGen Custom Product Framework from Cover-All Technologies (Fairfield, N.J.)

The companies previously worked together on a commercial package, commercial auto and BOP initiative in three states.

The Cover-All team documented the requirements, developed and delivered the custom product which supports the entire policy lifecycle, including submission, rating, print, and all subsequent transactions, according to a release. The product combines liability and property coverage in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.

Beth Chancey, VP of property and commercial underwriting for Alfa, says in a statement that Alfa will use the straight-through processing capabilities of My Insurance Center — the Cover-All suite of which NexGen is a part — to enhance its underwriting workflow for the new offering.
