EIT Benefit Funds Implements Vitech Benefits Software
Chicago-based EIT Benefit Funds, which administers medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, hearing, mental health, accident and sickness, life insurance, disability and unemployment benefits for the NECA-IBEW Local 134 electrical union, has implemented New York-based Vitech’s V3 retirement and health administration system.
"Our upgraded V3 System will allow us to offer more advanced and comprehensive service to our members than ever before in the most efficient manner possible," Sean Madix, EIT's administrator, says in a statement. "This upgrade allows us to maximize the investment we have made in our V3 System and we are pleased with how smoothly the upgrade process went."
EIT’s V3 platform includes demographics, employer reporting, contributions accounting, health eligibility determination, pension processing, vacation processing, benefit payments, and tax reporting. It went live on July 6th.
