Phoenix Companies Promotes EVP, Chief Administrative Officer

The Phoenix Companies, Inc. has promoted Jody A. Beresin to EVP and chief administrative officer. She is responsible for managing the IT, Corporate Services, Corporate Communications and Human Resources divisions at Phoenix.

Beresin joined Phoenix in 1994 as the director of Corporate Communications and held positions of increasing seniority before being appointed VP in 2003. She assumed responsibility for Human Resources in 2004 and was promoted to SVP in 2012 after taking on additional leadership roles in Corporate Communications and Corporate Services. Beresin began to manage Phoenix’s IT department earlier this year.

“As a member of the executive management team for the past two years, Jody has made important contributions to a variety of corporate initiatives and been a strong partner for me,” said James D. Wehr, Phoenix president and CEO, in a statement.
