Admiral Group Selects Guidewire for Policy Admin and Billing

Admiral Group plans to improve business efficiency and speed to market with two new systems.

UK car insurer Admiral Group has announced plans to implement policy administration, underwriting and billing systems from Guidewire, Inc. It will use Guidewire PolicyCenter for policy administration and Guidewire BillingCenter for billing operations.

Admiral earned its reputation as innovative when it became the first UK insurer to provide MultiCar insurance. It selected PolicyCenter and BillingCenter in its plan to implement a modern and flexible technology platform that will efficiently bring products to market.

The two systems will allow Admiral to quickly implement product and system changes. Employees can easily configure the features of each solution to address specific business requirements and future innovations. Admiral will also be able to maintain consistent and accurate policy administration and billing operations.

“We were looking for policy and billing systems that would allow us to make product changes quickly and easily,” said Charlotte Bennett, head of IT at Admiral Group, in a statement. “The out-of-the-box functionality and flexible architecture provided by PolicyCenter and BillingCenter will enable us to develop and change our products faster.”
