Two American National Subsidiaries Select Guidewire ClaimCenter

American National Property And Casualty Company and Farm Family Casualty Insurance Company will implement the claims system.

American National Property And Casualty Company (ANPAC; Springfield, Mo.) and Farm Family Casualty Insurance Company (Glenmont, N.Y.) will implement the ClaimCenter system from San Mateo, Calif.-based Guidewire, the companies announced today.

“We selected Guidewire ClaimCenter for the maturity of the product and for Guidewire’s track record of successful implementations,” Bernard Gerwel, SVP and CIO at ANPAC, says in a statement. “We also felt good about the depth and breadth of the Guidewire team’s industry knowledge and experience.”

Robert Campbell, ANPAC’s EVP and Chief Claims Officer added in a statement that "configurability and scalability" were important in selecting the software as well.

"We needed a system that could handle our current lines of business and had the flexibility to grow with our business and client demands," he said.
