In his new role, Daniels will oversee the development and implementation of the company’s strategic and tactical risk management programs and policies. He will also direct risk management operations for Aflac US and Aflac Japan, including Aflac Global Investments. Daniels joined Aflac in 2002 and most recently served as SVP and deputy corporate actuary.
“Todd has demonstrated his ability to work effectively with all segments of our insurance operations,” said Kriss Cloninger, president and CFO at Aflac. “We believe that his proven management skills, combined with an in-depth understanding of our insurance operations as well as risk management principles and practices, well-position him to lead Aflac Incorporated’s global risk function.”
