FUJITSU/INTEL PACT

Fujitsu Consulting (Edison, NJ), a provider of management and technology consulting, and Intel (Santa Clara, CA) have jointly developed a business collaboration and process automation solution that they claim will cut back on manual entry tasks and increase collaboration between business partners.

PIVOT/V-BANK ALLIANCE

Pivot/Info-One (Charlotte, NC) entered into a strategic agreement with VirtualBank (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) to offer insurance services and products to VirtualBank clients.

BISYS BUYS BROKERAGE

New York-based BISYS purchased Harrison James Group (Albuquerque), a national insurance brokerage firm. The acquisition supports BISYS' strategy to expand its presence in Houston, Chicago, St. Louis and Birmingham, AL.

HYLAND/OPEN SCAN

Cleveland-based Hyland Software Inc. and Open Scan Technologies, Inc. (Denver), have partnered to create an insurance solution for processing new business and ongoing commercial premium payments. Hyland's OnBase solutions provide imaging and workflow and Open Scan's Mail Scan and Open Key products provide automated capture, routing, recognition and exception handling.

HNC/BRIDIUM PACT

HNC Software Inc. (San Diego) announced a reseller agreement with Bridium (Atlanta). Bridium will incorporate and market HNC's CompAdvisor bill review software for workers' compensation as part of its Claims3 advanced multi-line claims management system.
