BNP Paribas Assurance Chooses Informatica Data Integration Platform

BNP Paribas Assurance (Paris), France's fourth largest life insurance firm, has selected the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform from Redwood City, Calif.-based Informatica Corporation.

The insurer will utilize Informatica PowerCenter to manage its overall data exchange processing. The data integration platform will help the company expand its insurance business in France, according to a press release.

The BNP Paribas Assurance project will begin with the contract management system and the selection of an appropriate software package. As of March 2009, it is expected that the solution will cover all data exchanges throughout France.
