Cool Sites
Allen Brewer, CIO, AIG's E-Business Risk Solutions Group (New York), visits these sites:
cnn.com, nytimes.com: If I want a more in-depth read about a topic I will usually jump to the online versions of CNN or The New York Times to get a more detailed story.
kpmginsiders.com: Another tool I use is KPMG Insurance Insider. This alert gets deliveredvia e-mail and will always at least get my attention because of the amount of time I spend on the e-mail page.
Metagroup.com: From time to time, if I need to do any type of IT research beyond the information our internal IT Web site offers, I'll visit www.metagroup.com.
Infogate.com: During the working day I run a personalized view from Infogate, which scrolls across the top of my screen highlighting alerts about topicsstocks, news stories, and a variety of other topicsI identified interest in during the personalization process.
msn.com: For the more personal travel/recreation/hobbies-type search, I find myself launching msn.com. Really no reason other than habit. I'm sure other sites would work as well, if not better.
